(A)DANPS diffusion annealing nickel plated steel – homogeneous Mixer crystal structure
DANPS, which is produced by Himix, is a high grade, cold rolled steel strip with an electro-deposited layer of pure nickel on both sides. A special heat treatment process provides for mutual diffusion of the nickel and iron atoms in the boundary layer. This produces fine grain mixed crystals, i.e. a permanent bond between electrodeposit and base material. In addition, the material is softened and very easy to deep draw. Chemical and optical measurements ensure that there is a plating thickness of 2 µm to 6µm, depending on the functional and corrosion protective requirements.

(B)Closed, uniform surface, even with extreme deformation
The homogeneous nickel steel bond satisfies even the most stringent requirements in terms of shape which is of greatest significance of corrosion protection. Even hollow products are left with a continuous, nickel surface of great uniformity, both on the inside and outside right down to the last corner.



(C)Economic processing, from beginning to the end
DANPS diffusion annealing nickel plated steel is ideal for efficient and economical production on high speed transfer presses and progression tools. Even extreme shapes are possible with an astonishingly small number of operations. The excellent processing properties of DANPS ensure that the production process is trouble-free, even at high press stroke rates. The result is a perfect semi-finished or finished product. No intermediate or post-treatment is required.
