Traditional pure nickel strips are generally available in the market for sale, in which they are manufactured in accordance with international standard internal electrical resistivity of Ni200 (i.e.≤9.6 x 10^6Ω.cm). The measured internal electrical resistivity of traditional Ni200 is typically within 9-9.6 x 10^6Ω.cm.

Our company realizes that some Ni200 users require lower in electrical resistivity of Ni200, usually all traditional pure nickel supplied in the market are not able to meet this requirement.

In view of this, our Ni200 cold rolling factory particularly added and replenished special production equipments and improved production technologies in early 2010, and now Himax becomes the first manufacturer in China to supply specially low resistance pure nickel Ni200 - its electrical resistivity can decrease down to the lowest 7.6 x 10^6Ω.cm. Comparing with the traditional pure nickel Ni200, now the electrical resistivity of our specially low resistance Ni200 is less than 20% or more.
